How to Reinvigorate Your Space With Simone Haag

After weeks of isolation, finding inspiration within the home can be challenging. We recently spoke with Interior Stylist, Simone Haag, who shared her insights on styling work to relaxation spaces. Simone has over a decade of experience in the Interior Design industry, with her work regularly being featured in print and online publications including Belle, Elle Decoration, and The Design Files. She now returns to lend her expertise on how to reinvigorate your space featuring vases from our elegant Autumn homewares collection.

“If your space is feeling a little drab, a surefire way to breathe new life into it is with greenery, branches, or botanicals. Whether it be re-potting existing plants or plucking some branches from the garden and styling them in beautiful contrasting white ceramic vases. With all that the world is going through right now, if something beautiful can thrive, it can only be a positive thing and will be a source of joy within your space.”

“Keep things moving around your space. You don’t always need to buy new and buy more—try grouping pieces you have in unexpected ways and move them to different areas of your home. I am a maximalist at heart and love immense collections of things, particularly vases and other interesting objects. This Country Road Quin teardrop-shaped vase in a stunning charcoal coloured glass is my new favourite. It creates a subtle statement, so I have had it on rotation in various spaces within my home.”

“Add a point of difference to what you’re seeing in your space every day. This can make it feel new, which will spark creativity and optimism. Walk through your house and consider the line of sight—what do you see as you walk down the hallway? What do you see when you walk out of your bedroom? Grouping multiple vases of different heights together is a great way to create a modern feel and interesting element to your line of sight.”
